Martijn Bressers has more than 23 years of experience in consulting both companies and private individuals in the Netherlands and Spain. His leadership skills and his work have helped to position Bressers Law amongst the leading law firms for ambitious international clients who are looking for quality legal counselling and a personalized service. He loves challenges and solving complicated legal cases. Due to his status of being a solicitor in the Netherlands as well as in Spain and his profound knowledge of both cultures allow him to provide a high-quality legal service.
Born in Bussum, Netherlands, he holds a law degree from the Rijksuniversiteit University in Leiden (Netherlands) and studied an academic year in Scotland. He is a member of the Bar Associations of The Hague (Netherlands) and Barcelona (Spain).
He was spokesman for the Executive Board of the Group of Young Lawyers of the Barcelona Bar Association and speaker for the National Council of the Dutch Bar. Prior to founding the law firm, he worked as a solicitor for the law firm Ekelmans & Meijer Advocaten in The Hague (Netherlands) and different international firms in Barcelona.
In addition to his professional activity he has always been sharing his legal knowledge through various means of communication in the Netherlands and other countries. He also acts as a regular conference speaker in Spain and abroad.
Out of the office
He is passionate about sports, nature and tough challenges. In addition to his responsibilities towards Bressers Law, he is very devoted to the education of his two daughters. Martijn is also a lover of open air sports, like cycling which has led him to compete in international races, such as the legendary La Charly Gaul in Luxembourg.
